Messy buns all the time :(

I'm in highschool, nd i still have to tie my hair everytime its puffy ! (which is like all the time :( )
My hair is like 3b or something.. And its not so long.

My biggest problem is that my hair is SUPPER curly and PUFFY at the same time.
Is there anyway i can make my hair less curly without heat? I did try buns and braids.. they dont really work:(

Any suggestions? :) !

have you tried bobby pin curls? there's a lot of perms out there that will take a lot of the curl & frizz out of it, even just temporarily.
    :love2: as of 6/12/11.

    COwash- Suave Juicy Apple.
Rinse-out- VO5 Passion Fruit Moisture Milks.

Recovering from a bad glue-in extension job. :sad7:

Your hair might need moisture. Dry hair frizzes out. It also sounds like your curls are breaking which creates volume. What is your current routine?

are you using any gels or leave in conditioners in your hair? my hair used to be HUGEE but my gel product worked to control frizz and puffyness. fluff free for 2 years :)

the dove damage therapy conditioner contains silicones, which means that its stopping any moisture from actually reaching your hair (causing puffiness). Try using a conditioner without silicones (silicones end in -con). I think garnier fructis triple nutrition conditioner is silicone-free, if you want to try that

Tresemme Naturals Avocado and Aloe Vera conditioner is REALLY good! It's silicone free and it makes your hair soft.
Me: medium/coarse, porosity??, high density 3b curls
Daughter: medium/coarse, porosity??, high density 3c curls (with annoying 2c curls in the nape area and sides :sad3:)

Do you brush your hair ? If you do, that could be the problem. Seriously, curls aren't made for brushin'.
If you're like me, and HATE the rough, unbrushed feeling of your hair, brush it while washing, or when it's still wet.
Say bye bye to puffiness. ;)
