Stila or Benefit Tinted Moisturizer

Has anyone used either of these tinted moisturizers (Stila or Benefit) or had any luck with any other ones? It seems like a lighter option to foundation. Does it really provide any coverage?

I haven't tried the two you mentioned, but I was using Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer for a while and it was heavenly! I only stopped using it because I developed a sensitivity to it after a couple of months. It went on so easily, and yes, it did provide a very nice, even finish -- I have a touch of rosacea, and it completely evened out the redness, yet didn't feel like I had anything on my face at all.

I use Stila on the weekends... it's really sheer coverage but it evens out skin tone & you can just put it on without worrying about streaks. The illuminating is more sheer than sheer color. both are nice though

Thanks! I might check into the Stila next time I am in Sephora. I think that was where I saw it. Does it look like you are wearing no makeup?

Sorry for the delayed response--- xmas mayhem!!

The stila does look like your face is naked. It's very sheer. If you need to cover anything, you'll want something else.-- I still use concealer for dark circles. It's a bit on the pricey side, but I love it.

Thanks! On a side note, I bought some Covergirl TruBlend Whipped Foundation and am really liking it. I had previously tried Maybelline Dream Mousse Foundation and while I loved the lightness of it, sadly it made me break out. So when I saw CoverGirl now has a version I had to try it. It is really light, blends really well and you ony have to use a tiny bit (it spreads really easily). I am able to put it on with just my fingers and it gives nice coverage without being too heavy. Good stuff!

Sounds like u already found something, but I thought I'd add that I have used the Benefit Rebel. I really liked it in the summer, as it has SPF and has a beige tint to it. It is pretty thick, so only a little is needed. It also sounds like it provides more coverage than the Stila. It did not break out my sensitive face, but it feels a lil heavy goin on (prob the sunscreen in it). The tint TOTALLY does not work for me in the winter, as it is way too dark for my fair skin.
