My hair prefers the more natural products, hates mineral and regular castor oil and doesn't care for most gels (with lots of chemicals.)

I use both leave in and curl creams with no problems. My hair also likes jelly products as last product on. When I was younger, my hair was dense, but age and medications has caused it to thin. It's also short (chin length) by most peoples standards, so I use smaller amounts of most products.

My favorite products are in my signature.

I love the Organix shampoos. They have a silicone in them that comes out with coco-betaine, so there's no buildup or anything. The protein helps pump up my hair as well.

My hair cannot handle any conditioner heavier than Suave Naturals. I know a lot of people co-wash with SN, but I use it as a rinse-out (I put it in my hair, leave it in for about 5 minutes while I shave, and rinse it all out). Anything heavier than that pulls out ALL my curl.

I've enjoyed the Herbal Essences Totally Twisted mousse--it's lovely and doesn't weigh me down. It gives lots of volume!
:batman: 2b/cFi, low density, normal porosity, high elasticity

    Low-poo
: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle
    Conditioner
: Suave Naturals (whatever scent I have on hand)
    Styling
: Paul Mitchell Round Trip, Tresemme Climate Control Finishing Spray

I'm a hair minimalist: the less time I spend on my hair, the better.

vo5 makes a good clarifying conditioner-Vanilla Mint Tea- that's totally CG and smells great! CVS always has them on sale for like 89 cents :)

conditioner: alot of people on here like GFTN..it's what I use and it doesn't weigh down my fine curls. it's really thick and super-moisturizing.. so moisturizing that sometimes I just skip my leave-in and my hair still looks great! it even says "weightless oils" on the bottle.

gel tends to make fine hair crunchy(from my experiences) but mousse is great! Use one with light conditioners, such as Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam(the original, not Extra Body) not sure if that one's CG though. Finesse Curl Defining Mousse has conditioners and I know for sure that one's CG.

Hope I helped! Good luck! :)
    Paul Mitchell Shampoo One

Hair One Cleansing Conditioner (Olive Oil)

Dove Nourishing Curls Whipped Cream Mousse

    Not CG

    Don't use leave-in conditioner

Straighten hair occasionally. I use Organix Brazilian Keratin Flat Iron Spray to protect from heat damage.

mostly 2b, some 2c, 3a on rare days. Low porosity, medium density, fine texture.

cleanser-do you mean shampoo or co-wash? I really like Paul Mitchell Shampoo One. It's meant for fine-to-medium textured hair, and only has one sulfate, Sodium Laureth, which is the gentlest one, I think. if you mean co-wash, then i recommend vo5 Vanilla Mint Tea clarifying conditioner. it's cheap and smells great! CVS always has these on sale for like 89 cents :)

conditioner- GFTN, hands-down the best one. it's thick and super-moisturizing, infact, its so moisturizing that I don't even have to use a leave-in :) But I do anyways(for the record, it's Aveeno Nourish+Style smoothing shine creme-not CG though) and GFTN won't weigh your hair down.

products- if you don't wanna use a leave-in conditioner, then use something with conditioners in it. Personally, I like Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam(the original, not Extra Body) or Finesse Curl Defining Mousse :)

Hope I helped! Good luck! :)

Is the Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam CG???
Water (Aqua), Polyquaternium-11, Isobutane, Propane, Panthenol, Wheatgermamidopropyl Ethyldimonium Ethosulfate, Bisamino PEG/PPG-41/3 Aminoethyl PG-Propyl Dimethicone/Hedychium Coronarium (White Ginger)/PEG-12 Dimethicone, Bisamino PEG/PPG-41/3 Aminoethyl

It looks CG to me with the cones being PEG modified. Not sure if that polyquat might be an issue for some, but I used to like this mousse a lot, now I'm kind of tempted to try it out again!

I recently tried Got2B mousse and it worked well, I got it at sally's. it doesn't have any silicones and i thought it was better than the HE mousses seemed more moisturizing to me....there's an old thread kicking around on the product reviews that's how i found out about it. i didn't care for the PM sculpting foam myself
