Deep Conditioning

What products do you use to deep condition. How do you do it?

I use to use the Biolage Conditioning Balm and loved it, but its so expensive I haven't bought anymore. I use to leave it on for about 3 minutes and I thought it did a nice job. I don't think 3 minutes constitutes deep conditioning, though, does it?

Just curious as to your routine on deep conditioning. Can some of you share, please? Thank you!

Cowash: Suave Strawberry, Tresseme Naturals Moisture
Lopoo: L'Oreal EverSleek
Style: Herbal Essence Totally Twisted Gel, Aussie Instant Freeze Gel, sometimes Alba
Techniques: Just use ShamWow after I put product in damp hair and crunch. Works well for me, my hair holds a good wave all day. 2nd day hair is even better.

I use mixed silks deep conditioner (from Sally's). It has amodimethicone in it though so I don't use it very often. When I do I usually put it on dry hair overnight with a shower cap on and rinse it out in the morning.

Sally beauty and Wallgreens have a generic biolage conditioning balm. Sally's version is GVP Conditioning Balm, and about 5$. I don't know what the walgreens version is called.

I've been using the new Pantene Curly Series Deep Conditioner but I'm not honestly sure how CG it is. I would love to go more organic once I'm out of this one! Although it does leave my hair super soft and is easy to comb through in the shower.
    2a, fine-med. text, normal porosity (I think)

I agree with everyone so far - you really need to get the knockoff Biolage; the walgreens one is called Bioinfusion Hydrating Conditioning Balm and is often on sale 2 tubes for $7, so about equivalent in price to the Sally's one. But these are MUCH less expensive than the Matrix and really just as good.

I use the fake Biolage Balm for regular conditioner, though, not DT. For Deep Conditioner I've been using the Curl Junkie Curl Rehab which, yes, is expensive. But I only use it once every couple of weeks, so it lasts awhile.

Sometimes for DT I take a thick RO conditioner and doctor it up a bit. I mix in olive oil, honey, anything I have on hand that could enhance the conditioner.
Sort of CG sometimes, but not really
2B, medium? normal porosity and elasticity?
