Alternative to Lotioncrafter for Honeyquat

alsaxonalsaxon Posts: 734Registered Users
I was going to buy it from them because this is where most people buy it from and I wanted to buy top quality. In other words I wanted to have a benchmark to judge by. However, by the time I had shipping the price is astronomical. I just can't do it. 9oz of honeyquat and 4 oz of Silk amino acids is $32 with shipping! I can't do it.

Where else do you buy your good honeyquat from?

where do you live that your shipping is that high? And which shipping option are you selecting? Jen has usps shipping options on there, it shouldn't cost you that much. You should contact her if you believe it's an error

Otherwise, wholesalesuppliesplus.com has honeyquat (and maybe saa, I don't remember). Gardenofwisdom.com also carries it. And I'm sure other places I'm not remembering right now. I have only ever purchased honeyquat and saa from lotioncrafter as Jen is in my state so shipping and delivery time are perfect!

shoot I should have contacted her first. the shipping was $10.72 and it was the cheapest option...Usps priority. I already ordered. If you don't mind me asking how much is your shipping usually?

I found Gardenofwisdom and it was out of stock. I'll look at wholesalesupplies next time.

dang I should have been more patient on a response! wholesale supplies is cheaper on the honeyquat per oz but more on the saa but they have free shipping so I would of got the same amount of SAA and twice the amount of honeyquat for the same price i paid lotioncrafter. I'll know for next time. Thanks for the site.

my shipping is usually $5 or 6, I don't think I've ever paid more than that and if I have, not much more. And I get it pretty quick too if I order early in the day.

yes, WSP has a better deal on honeyquat, but they are not near me and I don't like waiting...lol (I think they only use UPS ground and that is soooo slow)

anyway, glad it all got sorted!

Thanks for the idea to contact them. She agreed to put my order in a flat rate box so shipping will be $6.20 instead. I can deal with that.

i can't get over the fishy undertone of honeyquat. i'd rather use honey, sodium lactate or glycerin.

Do you leave your stuff unscented? If you add FO/EO you cannot smell that.

For me though, even without fragrance, I cannot smell this fishy undertone in honeyquat that some people report.

Hippychic, I just got my honeyquat from lotioncrafters. It doesn't smell fishy at all, it smells like aloe vera juice to me.

yes, scent is subjective. But it may be that hippy chic's honeyquat supplier isn't that great, OR honeyquat has a fishy smell, that only a few can perceive

i have a honeyquat that I got in a swap (I think it's from garden of wisdom). I'll check to see if it's fishy smelling

SAA contains water which makes the product les desirable than the silk powder. You don't know the concentration. I found it be much less effective than silk powder. Also, don't go to FNWL for silk powder. They force you to use UPS and they are too expensive. Instead get it from TBK Trading. Cheaper and less shipping, same product. My shipping was 3.00. FNWL is ridculous with pricing.

I got my honey quat from formulator sample store

    here is the link

    FSS QUATERNIZED HONEY PF

i like them because you dont have to have 30.0 order and shipping is low. because i was a new customer at the time they provide you with a free shipment code but you need to contact them for it
