    The best of 2010 is that I'm alive and somewhat healthy.
    That's really the only good I can say about it.
    A lot of bad has happened and I'm ready for this year to be over.
    My dog died (whom I loved almost like a human kid!!), my uncle got terminal cancer, my dad had a heart attack (but is fine now), three of my friends are separated due to infidelity issues of their spouses, my niece had several seizures and got the diagnosis of Lupus (after thinking for several years it was fibromyalgia). Oh yeah, I started out the year thinking I had TB...turned out the nurse misread my X-rays (dumb [email protected]#$% scared me all through the holidays last year and beginning of this year).
    My work merged with another company and it's been extra stressful with their new unnecessary, inefficient rules. I got diagnosed with asthma.

    Good news: dad is better, my niece has her good days, my uncles cancer had stopped spreading for a little while (they found new growth recently, though...but at least he was hopeful for a week or two). I don't have TB, my dog is no longer suffering, and I'm getting used to the craziness at work.

    2011 is going to be better...I can just feel it!!
    That's right, I said it! I wear scrunchies!!

    I am a sulfate washing, cone slabbing, curly lovin' s.o.b. The CG police haven't caught me yet.

    2010 was a good one:
    * I got my master's degree
    * I got a job in my field
    * My boyfriend and I moved in together
    * I bought a car
    * After being unemployed for a long time and working odd jobs, my boyfriend finally found a job with benefits
    * My mom is still cancer free
    * I adopted Andre

    The bad:
    * My boyfriend attempted suicide (thankfully, he's doing much better). Definitely the hardest thing I've ever gone through.
    * My aunt also overdosed.
    * Migraines continue to run my life
    * My dad's health continues to decline
    * My grandmother isn't doing too well either...she recently fell and broke her shoulder. I should be a better granddaughter and visit her more often.
    * I'm not completely happy with my job, but it will do for now
    * My boyfriend is estranged from his father. While this is better for his mental health, I know it is hard for him and makes him sad. The only family he has left is his brother and he only sees him about once a year. My family loves him, but it's just not the same.
    I think that I deceive genius.:happy10:

    Wow - Sounds like 2010 was a very dramatic year for most of you with a lot of highs and lows.

    The good:

    My apt. is looking so pretty after makeover
    I love my friends and much closer to SIL
    Have started exercising again

    The bad:
    Today I'm in the frame of mind not to complain about anything because I can swallow!!!!!!!!!!!! This time last year I ate and drank through a tube in my stomach.
    2/c Coarse hair med. density.
    Highly porous. Color over grey.
    I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....

    The Good:

    - My back is repairing itself quite well
    - Getting the strength back in my right leg so I can go to the gym again
    - Having much needed counselling and moving on
    - Being a bridesmaid for the first time
    - Finding out I am attractive to men (Mr Suit)
    - Starting my Pharmacy Technician course and being awesome at it
    - Getting unconditional love from my kitty Eddy

    The Bad:

    - My leg still gets tired and strange at the end of the day
    - Mr. Suit not contacting me anymore (fathead)
    - My dad's cancer came back for the second time
    - My Grandma had to go into care because she has Alzheimer's
    - Having cold after cold after cold all year.
    - Putting on 10 pounds in a matter of weeks
    Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
