Cooking experiment

Since I'm home sick today, I actually have time to cook something up in my slow cooker.

I threw the following into the cooker:

browned chicken thighs
chunky potato pieces
baby bella mushrooms
coconut milk
white cooking wine
paprika
tandoori masala
adobo

It's cooking now and although I have no idea how this will turn out, it smells amazing!! I can't wait to try this over some white rice for dinner tonight..

Do you like to experiment in the kitchen?

It sounds delicious! I like to throw things in the crock pot too but lately I'm using my pressure cooker.

I think anything with tandoori masala should help you feel better soon. I recently made some chicken tikka masala and it was fantastic!

    Sounds great!
    How'd it turn out?
Oh, yeah, love to experiment..haven't had any complaints thus far 8-)
Love to use my crockpot, as well......

It turned out good but it definitely needed more of the masala.. I'll be having the leftovers for dinner again tonight.

Yay for not cooking three days in a row. :)
