fine thin and curly --HELP!

I am new to these boards and looking for any advice on fine thin curly slow-to-grow hair. ANY product or styling advice would be fantastic. Thank You! My hair tends to be frizzy and tangly.

My hair is slow to grow if I don't take a vitamin for the growth. I take GNC nourishair for women.
A good conditioner will help with the tangles I bet. It sure helps mine. I use a gel that coats my hair to make it seem thicker and give it good hold.
As for frizz if a good conditioner and strong hold gel doesn't help that then [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]Curl Keeper[/buylink] by Curly hair solutions does a good job of getting rid of frizz. I hate the rest of their products but [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]Curl Keeper[/buylink] is really good.

Good luck finding what works for your hair! :D

I too have very fine, thin hair. And it's very picky! It can get weighted down easily. My hair hates wheat protein (it gets dried out), it doesn't like oils (it will get weighted down and look greasy) and cones will do the same thing.
Soooo, I've tried many different products and this is what works for me at the moment.....
I shampoo with Matrix for color treated hair and I'm still looking for a good no poo or low poo. I really want to try the devacare ones still.
I condish with aussie 3 min. original formula. I tried using One C (made by devacurl)and it was a disaster.
I ONLY use a microfiber towel. A terry cloth one will cause me frizz.
I scrunch out the water and then comb with a wide tooth comb and then add products....
I'll spray about 3-4 squirts of Set it free (made by devacurl) into my palms and scrunch that in. Then a small amount of [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCare-Arc-AnGell-p-567.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devacare-arc-angell]arc angell[/buylink] gel (made by devacurl) and scrunch that in. Most people need HUGE amounts of this gel but not me. Then I let air dry for about 15 -30 min. and then diffuse dry with a regular diffuser with fingers. I will then put a tiny amount of pomade (made by Aveda) into my palms when handling my hair while diffusing so I don't get any frizz.
So far.... all that is working right now.

Darby--thank you for the advice and sharing your routine. I bought a microfiber towel today and can't wait to try it. Do you always use shampoo, or just once in a while?

I shampoo every 3rd day. But now that the weather is colder I'm not getting second day hair so I'm wetting it down on the second day. The styling products I'm using don't build up or get gunky and that helps.

I've never noticed a difference with which shampoo or conditioner I'm using. For styling aides I use [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Confident-Coils-Styling-Solution-p-116.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-confident-coils-styling-solution]Jessicurl Confident Coils[/buylink] and Pantene Curl Defining Mousse. I dry on low heat with a diffuser. If I'm in a hurry I diffuse on high, but it doesn't turn out as nice.
