Dental Question

My husband went to the dentist today and ended up having to get fitted for a night guard as well as some fillings put in. When they made the mold, some of the material got left on his teeth. It is on the same tooth where they put in a filling, but he says it is moving and not the same as the other tooth with a filling from today. This was done about four hours ago and his is flipping out. I wish he would wait a little bit, but I told him if it was that much of a distraction (he cannot seem to function) to call the dentist at the after-hours number. The dentist is going on a trip tomorrow and will not be back until next Monday. My husband is pacing around the house driving me crazy. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

He should call the dentist before it gets too late. The dentist will probably be able to offer him a solution over the phone.

Call the dentist...what the heck is he waiting for?

He thinks it's his gum that is a little swollen now.

ETA: Thank you for the quick responses. I called the dentist's cell and left a message.
