I just wanted to reply to the post left in regards to QOD MAX OrganiQ which is a new formula completly aldehyde free. With this new formula you wash your hair only 5 minutes after the application process. Thanks for taking the time to post Keratin4U. I have bought the Qod White from you in the past. This stuff looks interesting - any info on it as how it compares to Qod White. I feel like Qod White gets my hair too straight (which alot of people would like), so I was wondering about this new formula. Thanks!

This new treatment will not straighten as much but the hair will have more of a natural look. I have a stylist that is very happy with the results. The positive thing also is that you wash your hair after only 5 minutes. Any questions let me know.

Hi, Keratin4u! Nice to see you here. I buy from you on eBay and have been very happy with my product.

I use QOD Gold now and I have 2 questions:

Is it ok to wash after 48 hours or should I still be waiting the full 72 hours?

Does the White straighten better than the Gold?

With QOD GOld you can wash after 24 hours with no problem. QOD White will straighten more than Gold. Any questions you can also email me at [email protected]

Thanks for the response! What does one need to do to become a distributor? On second thought, I'll just email you.

So, wow, 24 hours! I didn't know that! I would like to try White for my roots only but I still have an almost-full bottle of Gold, and I still actually have some Max left as well. Do you have any small sample sizes I could buy to try on my roots?

I'm going to try this stuff it looks pretty cool! Anybody know what shampoo and conditioner I am suppose to buy. There are a few at keratin4u's site and I'm not sure what ones to order. Also, anybody know how long this stuff lasts? Thanks!

Hey girls, I realise this thread is a while old now but I've only just come across it. I'm a long time DIY bkt'er and I've always used qod products. I started out with qod max, then qod gold and just recently I tried the organiq version. My initial impression is that it is much milder than the other formulations, my curl pattern has only changed very slightly (if at all) although the usual frizz reduction is there which is great With qod max and gold I found my 3C curls dropped to 2C whereas with this there really is very little change. I've not spoken to anyone else at all so far that has used organiq, but I'd be interested to hear about other people's experiences.

A bit of background on my bkt technique to put my results into context:

I apply every 4 weeks on my routes only, and every 9 weeks on my whole head. (I seem to revert really quickly - I swim a lot so maybe that's why?)

I use organix range shampoos and conditioners and just plain olive oil as a hair mask every now and then. I dye my naturally dark hair a light auburn so it needs all the moisture it can get.

I use GHD straighteners which are ceramic and don't go to the full 450 degrees, but I try and compensate by doing 20 passes on each section of hair (takes aaaaaaages!)

Below is a pic of my natural curl, and then also what it is usually like after using qod max/gold. I haven't taken a pic yet of what it's like this time but I'll update you when I do

Hi Everyone

QOD MAX OrganiQ is great. It gives you the option of a straighter look or if you want to maintain your volume , you can as well. OrganiQ is heat activated, so if you blow dry at medium heat, it will not take a slong to blow dry your hair and you can style as desired even maintaining the curls if you want. The frizz will be gone. The best of all as well is that there are no strong fumes or Aldehyde or formaldehyde which is becoming a concern for many customers. I also wanted to let everyone know that we just lauched KeraPremium and we will be featured on SkyMall magazine.

Hi

Kerapremium has an added ingredient which is Argan Oil. Argan oil is really good. Helps hydrate the hair.

QOD MAX OrganiQ or Gold OrganiQ formulas cant really be compared to the Original formulas. The original formulas would give a more straighter effect due to the formaldehyde. But in reality Keratin treatments are not to straighten the hair. Its to reduce the frizz so with that its reducing the volume and also to leave the hair shinny , soft and easy to manage. OrganiQ will still give a straight effect but I will be honest and say that not as much as the original formulas. Now, OrganiQ is heat activated and progressive, meaning with just a little of blow dry and your hair will be straight and will not curl during humid days, also is proigressive in the way that , as you re apply the treatment the better the hair will get.
Now if some of you still want products with aldehyde 2% I still have one called nano keratin. But I really suggest everyone starting to transition because aldehyde and formaldehyde are being banned soon. In Europe is completly banned.

Quick question as I just got QOD Organiq and am looking forward to using it. The instructions say to rinse it out after 5 minutes OR to leave it in for 24-48 hours. Will leaving it in the hair for one or two days before rinsing give a straighter effect?

Since you can wash your hair after 24 hours with QOD gold, can you do the same with the QOD max (the classic formula)?

If desired you can leave the treatment until the next day but it's really not necessary. I have some customers that told me that they apply the treatment than the next day they flat iron once again and than wash the hair. They stated that the results were even better. I have not personally tested the application like that, so I cant confirm that. Any questions email me directly as well at [email protected]

I did the treatment over the weekend and left it on for about 24 hours before washing it out. I did about 10 passes on each piece of hair. This was the QOD MAX Organiq so I wasn't really expecting a straighter effect (even though I was kinda hoping for it!)

Overall so far I must say it's made my hair a lot softer, shinier, and less frizzy with more curl definition. But it didn't really change my curl pattern at all. However my hair is pretty much back to how it was before I colored it (loreal hicolor hilites w/30 vol developer), so I'm happy with that because it was really dry, frizzy, and knotted easily after I colored it and I was very sad that I had damaged my hair.

We'll see how it goes. Any of you know how long I should wait before I apply the treatment again? I'm really tempted to do it tonight but I just did it 2 days ago so it would probably be a waste...
