List of products to use with the Keratin Treatment

I'm wondering if we could compile a list of hair products that don't contain sodium chloride. So far I am using...

Coppola Keratin shampoo
Coppola Keratin conditioner
Aubrey Organics rose Conditioner
Paul Mitchell heat seal

Can anyone else add more products as it is costing me a small fortune lol

because it ALL depends on what it is you want to do with your hair.

For me? I really rely very little on products. I co wash with VO5 conditioner, and use a mixture of water, castor oil, coconut oil, and mega tek as a leave in cream, but that's me.

I can more easily tell you what to stay away from, rather than what is safe. Have you tried your local beauty supply store? Or one in an ethnic neighborhood? There I was able to find generic after keratin treatment shampoos and conditioners priced at about $10 for 8 ounce bottles.

Although I haven't read the ingredeients in it, my sister loves to use Tresemee for her co washing after BKT, and she says a HUGE bottle costs about $5 bucks at CVS.

I also believe Shea Moisture's curl milk i( sold at target) is safe, although the deep moisture mask is not safe as it contains sodium.

I'm in the UK and unfortunately we seem to be 10 years behind you guys!!! I will have to check my local black hair product store.

I've noticed that sodium can be on the ingredients as Sodium Potassium, not sure if this is something I need to stay clear of!!

Thanks for you help, I will try and locate these products

Here are a few things that I use - don't know if they are readily available in UK. Loreal Everpure line, Deva Low-Poo and Deva One Conditioner. I also like Kim Vo shampoo. I personally think that the loreal everpure line does wear out the BKT faster than the others, but I use the shampoo about every 2 weeks as I feel like it gets my hair cleaner and removes all the gunk from my gels. I've used Coppolla shampoo in the past, but I don't like how it leaves my hair. Good Luck!
