Pedaheh--heard of Redken Wool Shake?

This product makes me think of you! Probably because I heard about it at a rocker salon, and it helps with rockstar hairstyles, so I associate it with you!

It adds texture and volume. It also unfortunately has a very strong perfumey smell that I don't like, but in small amounts the smell is minimized. I use a couple of squirts in my palm scrunched in the crown area of my head for some volume and texture.

Ingredients:
Water, Lithium Magnesium Sodium Silicate, Propylene Glycol, AMP-Acrylates/Allyl Methacrylate Copolymer, Sorbitol, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Glycerin, Methylparaben, Fragrance, Chlorphenesin, Polyacrylate-3, Maltodextrin, Coumarin, Linalool, CI 14700/Red 4, CI 15510/Orange 4, Cotton extract, CI 42090/Blue 1.

I'm the first person most people think of when they here the words Rock Star. :afro:
The description sounds awesome. My hair doesn't like, but doesn't hate hydrogenated castor oil. Other then that it sounds right up my alley for when I do textured hair. Thanks for thinking of me.
I can deal with perfumey smells. But what is so wrong with having gel (or whatever product) smell like gel and not like fake cherries (or whatever). Does everything need a scent?

By the way, I bought a R2D2 recently. I've been having fun playing around with retro roller sets. The 60's flip was cute. The 40's pincurl set was a flop. The dryer is nice because the sets actually dry.

I've used it before. When I had my first curly cut last April, the stylist used this on me. It was very strange.

Well, who else would we think of when we think "rock star hair?" Some actual rocker? Honestly ladies, I think we all know they didn't figure out how to do their hair on their own!

But Holy clay, Batman! Lithium Magnesium Sodium Silicate sounds like bentonite, a really slippery clay (formed from volcanic ash), as ingredient #2. Weird.

I guess nothing holds like clay (and acrylates). Sounds very ancient Egyptian (only the clay part).

My stylist used a ton directly on my hair when she did my hair, and it really did add texture and volume. But the smell was so bad I had to wash it out the next day.

I liked the results, though, so I bought the product and I literally squirt two squirts into my palm and just use it on the limp crown area as a finishing product. It also works great on 2nd day hair.

And Peda, it's not just the hair, it's the makeup too!

I was wondering what the bla bla silicate was. That is weird. It makes me more intrigued about this weird stuff. I can see where this would give you piecey hair.

This is totally intriguing. I'm currently taking a break from buying products. But I'm adding this to my "to try" list.:thumbleft:
I wouldn't be a proper rock star without make-up. You have to keep the fans happy. 8-)
