Dryer sheets

Does anyone use dryer sheets on their hair to control frizz? Do they work?

I keep hearing about dryer sheets and how they work on hair.

I wouldn't use them. They're usually coated in a chemically waxy film. But then I am not a dryer sheets person.

Wouldn't a pomade be cheaper for "waxy things that control frizz?"
Dryer sheets do not list their ingredients whereas cosmetics must and to me, that is a plus.

    And they're wasteful.
