I started the 17 Day Diet last week.....

Day 8 of the diet...down a grand total of 11 pounds. I just can't believe it. I'm eating better and other that a slight headache in the afternoons I feel great. I leap out of bed in the mornings to pee and jump on the scale. LOL And I don't care if it is "Just water weight".

Beginning weight 170.8
Today 159.8

Wish me luck this week!

    I saw the Dr. who wrote the book on Dr. Phil and the Doctors show. My daughter ordered it for me. The diet changes every 17 days. First 17 is pretty much the South Beach Diet. Low carb, unlimited protein, veggies, and 2 fruits that you eat before 2 pm. Green tea (I haven't tried it yet). And I cheated 2 nights with a glass of red wine. I'm so happy.

    ohhhh!! Yeah the SBD is da bomb but Phase 1 is a b--!! LOL!! I lost 10 lbs when I did phase 1 but I was so crabby later. The rest of the phases were manageable.

    I subbed to this as I want to see your progress and what other diets you try.

    Still holding at the 12.4 pound weight loss! Didn't drop because of the holidays...but didn't gain any either!:blob4:

    I just wanted to add, I started the 17 day diet on January 5th of this year. As of this morning I am down 21 lbs.
    To me, it's just so easy to make the change in what I eat and stick to it. Now I just need to add exercise! :glasses1:
