I was thinking that it would be a great idea to meet other curlies in our state.
I know that, unfortunately, we are all spread out. Maybe Central Florida would be central enough for most of us?
I was thinking of Saturday, October 25th although it might be short notice for many.
Any idea for a location and a date?

You might not be the only one not being able to make it anytime in October. Maybe early November would be better.

I'm a curly-headed runner, triathlete and foodie! Sweat, chlorine, sun... my hair gets tortured by it daily. It somehow always manages to 'bounce' another day!

Would love an excuse to go to Orlando though.
I have a couple of questions:
1- Is November OK for everybody?
2- November 8 or 15 (or later)?
3- Is Orlando Ok for everybody?
4- In what type of setting would you like to meet? A restaurant chain (Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, etc...)? A theme restaurant (Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood, etc...)?
Any suggestions?
If anyone wants to meet before that as a smaller group, I wouldn't mind doing a Sunday lunch/brunch with a few people.
I like something near the Disney area in Orlando, but not necessarily something on Disney property because of parking, traffic... maybe the Bahama Breeze at Lake Buena Vista, or if people live farther north, we could do Winter Park Village or the Mall of Millenia. Let me know!

3. Yes, the greater Orlando area is good for me.
4. Not sure about where to meet. How have other groups done this? A restaurant would be fine with me, I guess.
ETA: I don't like the RF Cafe at Universal because parking is such a pain. Cool restaurant and all, but you have to park in the park lot and trek all the way into CityWalk. I would prefer to meet somewhere with "street parking" so it's more convenient. But, whatever the group decides is fine with me.

- Lunch or Dinner?
There will always be a date where some members can't attend. I've learned that too many problems develop when you keep moving and changing the date.
If worst comes to worst, there can always be more than one gathering!!

I live in Jacksonville, Duval County. It's about 2.5-3 hrs. drive, depending on how bad traffic is on 95 (uggh!!)
