how would you recommend a boy with curly hair have his hair cut??

im a boy and i have very curly,thick black hair and i dont know what to do with it anymore i had it buzzed off a while ago but that was not a good look for me what should i do ??

    IMO, you're best off to go to a barber than a hair stylist. Barbers are trained to cut hair dry, and to work with what your does naturally.

    Personally, I love to see guys with curls wear their hair longer than the short cropped looks that seem to be the current trend. I also believe that curly hair that's too short to have some weight to it will look a lot more unkempt.

    My 15 year old son has thick gorgeous 2c/3a (depending on the weather and length) hair. The barber was just not cuttin' it (pun intended).
    I took him to a stylist that has experience with curls. But first I had him grow it out til we couldnt look at him anymore to get a feel for his true volume/texture.
