Is my curly hair just plain weird??

Hey all, I just had a quick question.
I have 3b curls and I have tried a lot of different methods, trying to determine which is the best way to show off my natural curl and I have found a way and just wanted to share it and maybe get some more opinions... because I haven't seen it anywhere else.
Here's what I do: I get my hair wet. That's it! I just get it nice and soaking wet and let it dry. No product, no nothing except maybe a little scrunching. The more I do this (get my hair wet and let it dry, that is) the more defined my curl gets.
And I have heard a few times that us curly-haired folks don't have to wash our hair very often because our hair is so thick and usually dry enough that it doesn't get all oily... so most the time when I shower, I don't do anything to my hair. Like I said before, I just get it wet and when it dries it curls a little and if I get it wet again, the curl gets a little stronger...
So does this happen for anyone else? Or is it just me?

There is a girl who puts pictures in the 3A 'show off your hair' thread who says she just rinses her hair out each morning and conditions about once a month.

It wouldn't work for me, but if it's what your hair does best with, yay! Very affordable and easy. No I don't think it's wierd, you are just lucky.

Wow, you're lucky! I wish my hair were like that. I've got horrid 3c hair, and it doesn't like to work with me. I don't think your hair is weird, though. Embrace it!
