Lucky for me SO loves kitties as much as I do. We're keeping 2 of them and then getting Miss Kitty fixed. This is her second litter and really the problem is we get too attached to all of them. The kids are so sad when they get adopted out.

I don't wanna be that crazy lady who just let's her 40 cats keep breeding and breeding. Yikes!

If you don't mind. Let me know when they are ready to be adopted. My MIL has been hinting around about a cat. She won't get one herself but if we got one for her she would not object :)

And Eris (or Miss Kitty as I call her) had a litter of kittens 2 weeks ago. They are finally getting into the cute baby phase. I'm sure I'll be posting LOTS of pics in this thread soon.

*SQUEALS* in a high pitched tone. Oh baby kittehs! The SO would certainly kill me if I brought one home. :tongue6:

Jess the Mess, I have a special spot in my heart for Bassets. I had a BH named Freckles when I was a kid. I would scan a pic, but I think that all of my pics of him are at my parent's house. He was the runt of the litter and I couldn't be talked into any other puppy. :love4:
Freckles! What a perfect name for a basset! I love it!

That's right...we might be neighbors. I will definitely let you know. We'll be adopting out the striped ones and they are both girls. And very, very cute.

I took these last night. Unfortunately you can't see Bagheera (the all black one) real well but that's ok. SO loves to hold them all up so I can snap pictures.

This guy is not my pet - I just wanted to share. I live out in the country and we have turkeys in the yard all the time. The back yard is 2 levels and this turkey can't reach the bird feeder from the lower level....so he jumps on the rock, pecks the bird feeder filled with sunflower seeds to make them fall out, then hops down on the lower level to eat the seeds! He does this over and over and over! I laugh so hard every time I see him!

Determined turkey!!! That is so cool he's figured out how to get some food.

I can't remember if I posted this or not, but a few weeks ago I saw these guys trotting through the back yard which gave me time to grab the camera and run to the front deck just in time to catch them. There were about 15 total!

No, I'm not being funny. Flower Mound is so named because it's famous for it's mound of wildflowers. It's covered in bluebonnets in the spring and it's a big photo op destination in DFW.

My roommate's boyfriend's dog was staying with us this week ... She gets along with Curie pretty well, but Corona is still wary. He just sits there with his paw raised, like "Don't make me use this". It's funny because Willa just wants to play with the cats, but they're all like, "WTF do you think you're doing, dog?!"
