Shea Moisture Shampoos

My hair officially hates cones and sulfates.I'm in search of a new shampoo and I want to buy a Shea Moisture Shampoo but I'm not sure which one yet. I'm tired of being a product junkie.

Have any of you tired Shea Moisture Shampoos?

The Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo is pretty good but it does have a bit of a perfumey scent. My son likes it though.

For me.. I love Aubrey Organics shampoos. I like various shampoos in that line but the one a lot of people love from Aubrey Organics around here is their Honey Suckle Rose Shampoo.

And it's a good price at www.vitacost.com and best thing is shipping is $4.99 flat rate no matter how many products you order! I order a bunch of things at one time for that shipping price!

I'm using the Organic Black Soap Deep Cleansing shampoo and I like it. It's got tea tree in it so it's good for itchy scalp and dandruff problems. A little goes a looooooonnnnnnnnnng way, though.

I think the raw Shea moisture retention shampoo is the best moisturizing shampoo out there. And I've tried a lot of stuff from Aubrey organics to Curls to Aveda. The shea moisture is the only shampoo that doesn't leave my hair feeling dry.

@ CocoT...it's SheaMoisture. The one with the black label. Also, another great thing about it is even though it has tea tree in it, it doesn't smell all medicinal. To me, it smells like bananas/plantains (it has plantain extract in it.) I got it from one of my local Target stores.

I tried the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo today. And, I love it! I love it for many reasons. It's a great moisturizing shampoo and it does not cause that stripped feeling like some shampoos (i.e. Giovanni Smooth as Silky). Also, it makes it much easier to detangle my 10 month transitioning hair. The smell is so soothing. Overall I am really happy with the Shea Moisture Product line :thumbleft:.

    +1

I've been using this one for a week now and I have seen a HUGE improvement in my scalp

I bought my mom the Yucca line (green label) for X-mas (a couple of people on here were raving about how good it was but they left out the part of how awesome it smells).
If at first you don't succeed you must try, try, try again...:disgust:

There are curlies of all types who love SM shampoos. i have only tried the curl and shine. I gave it away because I like stronger shampoos.

Today I used Shea Moisture’s Raw Shea Butter Moisture Retention Shampoo and I LOVE IT! It was super moisturizing and left my hair feeling soooo good! It was very easy to manage after using it. I have been wanting to try this shampoo for the longest and finally tried it out. I think my hair is mad at me for waiting so long.
I was using Giovanni’s Smooth as silk shampoo for quite some time, when I shampoo, and it always left my hair feeling stripped.
    Goodbye Giovanni, Hello Moisture Retention.

I tried the sm moisture retention it was pretty good. Hair was soft. They have good products. I used to use Giovanni smooth as silk conditioner, tea tree shampoo and 50/50 conditioner. They're great but I needed something with more slip.
