Find your foundation color for any brand.

I found this cool sight for finding foundation color. If you know your color in one foundation, you can scroll up or down and find out which color your wear in another foundation.
This is especially helpful for pale skinned people who don't have as many foundation options. For example, I have pale but neutral to warm toned skin (NC10). Most pale foundations are pink toned. This site lists 5ish drugstore foundations that are potential matches.:toothy6: I thought there were 0. :( I haven't tried any of these yet, but at least I now know where to start looking.

This chart is very interesting. I found the makeup selections I usually wear under "cool" tones which surprised me because I've always been told I have "warm" toned skin and from everything I can figure out, my skin is warm toned. So maybe I'm wearing the wrong foundation!

Have to experiment - maybe at Sephora. Thanks for posting the chart.
    2/c Coarse hair med. density.
    Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....

That is a great link! I am bummed that it doesn't list Jane Iredale, which I love and have used for many years, but I may need to find a cheaper alternative for soon.

3 matches, one for a brand I never heard of and 2 for CoverFx which I'm not interested in (I don't require heavy duty covering up).

It's hard to find stuff to match my skin tone.

Light olive skin (I'm lighter than a lot of "white people" but in a different way, if that makes sense), I look good in both silvers and golds, I look good in any color, and my under eye circles have a greenish tint.
Hair type: Mostly 3C, medium porosity to high porosity depending on the day, dense, fluffy, dry, tangly!

I haven't tried this foundation, but it gets great reviews on make-up alley.

Sally Hansen Your Skin (By Carmandy) in Porcelain.

This color was in my recommendations for NC 10 and looked too light for me, but may work for you. It is warm toned. CVS carries this brand.

Cover FX has a foundation with lighter coverage. I have a product from them that looks more like a tinted moisturizer. I like this brand because it has colors for me. I have medium-dark skin with a bright red undertones. I look good in both gold and silver and tend to be neutral, though I have warm skin. Most makeup lines don't have colors dark enough for me, and when they do, the undertones are wrong. I also have very sensitive skin, so that limits me as well.

Bumping this up for any new curlies. It might not work for everyone but it's kind of fun anyway.

I also have light olive skin and was able to find, at long last, a foundation that was an exact match for my skin tone:  BH Liquid Foundation in L2 Light Olive!  It's usually $7-$8 but BH Cosmetics' web site frequently has sales; I've gotten bottles of the stuff for $5 each.

Got my order from BH cosmetics and really like everything I got!  The foundation is a little light for me this time of year but in winter will be perfect. I never use straight foundation anyway but mix up my own BB/CC cream with foundation and other things.
I also got 3 lipsticks, an eyebrow palette, and a big blush/eye shadow palette. Everything is highly pigmented which is unusual for the low prices!  I also got a big set of makeup brushes for free and they are very high quality. Thanks @FeedYourHead for mentioning this company!
