What happened?! Help please!!

My hair has just completely stopped working for me. It's frizzy, I'm getting these odd hairs that just won't curl, it's flat, just terrible. Not shiny, not smooth, just awful hair all around.

In the shower I'll use V05 conditionor and finger comb my hair. I'll leave that on while I soap up and then rinse it off. Then I'll take a liiiiiiittle bit of DevaOneC and use it over the canopy of my hair. I won't rinse that. Then I'll take some Angell, rake it through and then scrunch it up. I'll air dry my hair for about 20 minutes or so and then use a diffuser.

I don't understand what is going on. This is the same thing I've been doing and my hair used to look great with it but now I just want to say screw it and attack it with a straightening iron.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I should note that my hair is shoulder length and 3A/B.

Well, I'm wavy, but it sounds like it could be the weather affecting your hair. I've heard that alot of people have to change routines when the weather cools off. To me it sounds almost like you might need a more moisturizing conditioner. My hair is only about 2a/b, but even I'm finding I need to use a richer conditioner or more leave-in. Just my two cents. HTH!

Are you new to using OneC? My hair hates it.

I've been using OneC for about three weeks and I use the V05 Moisture Milk (which smells great btw).

I just ordered a sample of Jessicurl hoping that if I use something else it will help.

I wonder if you're getting some overconditioning from the One C. Some people find it a little too heavy when used daily.

My hair acts very weird with One C. I've tried using it many times, many different ways and my hair tells me each time, "STOP, I hate this."
I tried using it as a dt and my hair wasn't moisturized at all - it came out gunky and coated like. I had to wash it out with shampoo.
When I try it as a reg. condish, my hair is weighted down. So, I give up on it.

Which VO5 MM are you using? Peaches or Strawberry? I found the Strawberry one made my hair very frizzy and tangly.

I think it's pretty cold in NY right now and inside heat must be running all day sucking moisture out of everyone's hair, so cutting back on CO is not what you need to do but the opposite.

Just a few days ago a guy had a similar problem over there and at first I too thought maybe he was over-conditioned or had build, or maybe the OneC just wasn't for him but he decided to use more and noticed an immediate improvement. You see, the VO5 is not rich enough (so if at all possible skip it entirely) and you say you are only using a "liiiiitle bit of One C", more than likely you need way more, try that and see what happens. If you need more to be convinced, look at the thread "Product free, and LOVING IT!!!" right on this section of the forums.
