Henna on dark brown hair - photos?

Been searching the interwebs for some pics of people's results using henna on naturally dark brown (almost black) hair, but haven't been able to find much. Wondering if you lovelies have any photos you wouldn't mind sharing? Any and all results photos will be appreciated!

I don't have any pictures unfortunately, but my mom used to dye her hair with henna and they looked great! She's got dark brown hair with some white streaks here and there and the color really popped!

This is a little off-topic: I've got coarse hair and my hairdresser once warned me never to use henna because they actually thicken your hair over time. I know that in general hair dyes coat your hair shaft thus making it look thicker but I'm not sure if that's what my hairdresser was referring to when he was talking about henna.
