Hi, I'm new here and wanted some advice. I've been relaxing since I was very young b/c my mom didn't know how to handle my hair. Since late April I wanted curly hair so I tried some products. Then I heard about texturizing so I went natural in late May. Then in Augustest I changed my mind and got a relaxer(Big regret!) So,now i've been natural for a month which is great! but I'm not entirely sure what to do w/ my hair in terms of styling. The 1st 2 weeks i had a weave, then the 3rd week i wanted to give up the weave so I did. Now i'm not sure what to do, I know people usually do braids, wash and go's etc. But is it okay to blow dry on low heat better yet the cool setting? Please help!:dontknow:

First of all congrats on the decision yahh!!
Well if you do blowdry use a good heat protectant like tresamme (sp?)
As for styling you could try:
    perm rod sets
flat twist outs using rods on the relaxed ends
twist outs also using rods on the ends

    HTH

If you MUST use a blow dryer - and we all have times when that happens, get a good diffuser and learn to use it properly.

In a pinch, you can use your satin sleep bonnet to dry through.
