i love jack johnson.

i'm , having a cup of celestial seasonings tangerine orange zinger, just rocking away in my chair hemming a skirt and listening to in between dreams ...

he has this uncanny way of making my most terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day just melt away ...

OMG, I love Jack Johnson too! His music is just so happy and sometimes silly, I just have to feel better!

I also listen to Sting (I love him), Sufjan Stevens, Dave Melillo, Wicked Broadway Cast Soundtrack, and The Academy Is for make me happy music. Works every time

I recently downloaded "Wrong Turn" after standing in the bathroom one morning getting ready and hearing it playing on some neighbor's radio in the distance. I like it so I should probably check out more of his songs.

I never really cared to seek out Beatles music because I never got what the fuss was about, but recently I found two songs that make me happy, "We Can Work it Out" and "Got To Get You Into My Life." It was the lyrics that caught my attention and what I'm discovering is I really like the Beatles, just not the really famous songs.

    Keaton Simons.

Well, this week, because I'm still happy from his being here last week and that I get to see him in less than a month!

Mayim, we apparently have VERY similar musical taste!

I have different kinds of happy music depending on the situation. :D

Josh Groban is my take-away-my-stress music.
Natasha Bedingfield is my get-determined-and-enthusiastic music.
Norah Jones is my relax-and-just-breathe music.

There are other individual songs that can make me happy for no reason that I can figure out. "Jack and Diane" by John Mellencamp is one that's coming to mind at the moment..... even though the lyrics are actually a little depressing...... I dunno. But there are lots!

Pretty much anything Metallica that I can sing along to and just rock out. Songs with energy do it for me.

I heard a live version of "Rodeo Clown" by Jack Johnson on our local "Jams Plus" show that was fantastic. If you ever get a chance to download it, DO IT!
