Serious blackheads - any tips?
I have had blackheads throughout my entire adolescence. I'm now 19, and though my skin is not nearly as acne prone as it was, I've still got blackeads all over my face (nose, forehead, all over my chin), as well as on my upper back and a bit on my chest . I've been to the dermatologist, and the stuff they gave me just made me really dry and irritated, and I had to use a detergent cleanser to remove it every morning, which only made matters worse. I've tried alot of the drugstore-type "blackhead removing" products, and nothing has worked at all - some of them acutally made my skin worse. Can anyone relate, and can anyone offer me a few pointers about what to try? I'm currently using Neutrogena Deep Clean (for lack of anything better to use) and St Ives facial moisturiser. I'm seriously considering trying the oil cleansing method (/home/leaving?target=http%3A%2F%2Fpurehenry.com%2Focm.htm" class="Popup), because my current problem seems to be irritation and some dryness in addition to blackheads, though my skin is normally oily.
