Fallen off the wavy wagon!

Hey girls. I have started straitening my hair again. Ack! I am getting zero wave with all the dry heat. Any one have suggestions on locking that moisture in for dry winter weather?

    HD,
Is your hair layered right now? I just got mine layered and, wow, what a difference. The wave comes out much better now and I have almost no frizz.

It's been dry here too which is real unusual. I've had to switch to thicker conditioners and use a cream under my gel. Rusk being gutsy or boots curl creme or loreal out of bed is what I've been rotating.

You watch as soon as I get used to it being dry the humidity will come back and throw me for a loop

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!

Strange - I'm up in Canada, and the weather is cooling off and getting dryer, and my hair is behaving better than it has in ages. Thought that also might be that I'm experimenting with products all the time, and I've found something that works. The current routine will go out the window when the humidity returns, however.

I have had the very same problem every single year!! I finally invested in some cool mist humidifiers for my home, they have helped tons!!! My curls & skin loves the moisture as well as the sinuses

My waves LOVE humidity which is a good thing since I live in Alabama! I do fight frizzies, but the curls I get are awsome starting in April and start to flatten in November.

Medusa and Sunderella - I'll try the heavier conditioner/cream and I also think a humidifier would help. My sinuses are even dried out! Ack! Good news is that it's going to be 70* and sunny all weekend so I should get better waves regaurdless. ;o)

Fuzzy - I have lots of layers. You can check out my pictures in my Fotki. There is a picture of it strait too from this week. :o)

I think one of the problems is that I have been getting lots of compliments on how nice it looks STRAIT. Maybe it's just the change after being wavy pretty much all year, but sheesh. I'm begining to get a complex!

    Thanks a million!
