Does developer go bad?
I have a bottle of Clairol 10 Volume developer. It's probably at least 2 years old. Does this stuff go bad? It smells ok but will it still work? Thanks.
Also, can I mix this developer with any old hair color from Sally's or does it have to be a specific type? I want to do a semi-permanent color sometime soon.

Sort of CG sometimes, but not really

You can mix virtually any developer with any dye, however when you buy the developer the color suggests it's usually formulated specifically for the dye. However, any developer will work. HTH
