the Axe shampoo for guys be ok? my boyfriend uses Axe freeze, and reading its ingredients on the bottle i didnt see anthing that ended in -cone... its a 2in1 'poo and co i believe, but does anyone know if it is safe to use while trying to do the CG method? i wouldnt be using it everday, just every once and in while, if i do use it

    For shampoo, look for one with no sulfates as well. They would be ingredients like sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium laureth sulfate.
    I cannot be certain but all the stuff my husband was using (hair, body-all of it) was sulfate laden!

    As far as I can tell, it's probably okay as far as sulfate shampoos go. I wouldn't recommend using it unless you've used a non-watersoluble cone, however. It does put your hair at risk for further damage.

    FWIW the names of silicones generally end with -cone, -conol, -col, or -xane. The prefix PEG indicates that it's modified in a way that makes it watersoluble.
