Henna for Frizz?

Henna - I've read about it being a good conditioner and frizz reducer. Though, I can't find the thread. It was a while ago.
I would like to use a recipe and give it a try. My hair needs urgent care - its depressing and we all know how that feels.
Thanks in advance:)
3b/C with nicer curls on the bottom!
Hair: naturally very dry and VERY porous
hair seems to be moody.
Does not seem to like oils
Does not like protein or too much?
Does not like rich products

So, I ask myself. What does it like? That is the question, and I'm on a mission.

I haven't styled my hair enough (or hennaed enough) to say whether it has reduced frizz. Increased strength ✔ Increased moisture retention ✔ So IMO that should lead to decreased frizz.

Here's the monster thread started by curlynikki. (Her hair in her siggy is from around Jan. 09 AFTER henna.) This thread is responsible for getting me to start henna.
