Slightly dumb hair question

I'll be the first to admit that I'm horrible to my hair. I haven't cut it since 2008, naughty!, and I'm going in tomorrow to cut all the damage off and start fresh since the splits need to go and it needs thinned and badly. Can't comb through it wet anymore...whats just as bad is that its getting cut and I have no idea how it will be cut. I'm open for gallery pointers, but that isn't why I'm here.

This is my real question, and probably a slightly ignorant one. I know that my hair was rather curly when it was shorter, but as it lengthened and took on damage, it straitened into more waves. Will the curls come back when the weight is gone?

I think it will come back into curls. Gravity can stretche out the curls into waves for some people.

Good luck - and don't ever worry about a question being "dumb." I actually thought it was a smart question :toothy4:
    2/c Coarse hair med. density.
    Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....
Every day is a gift :flower:
