I am about 5 months into my transition...and i wanna know from those who have transitioned whether you saw mostly zigzags and what hair type you are.

All i'm seeing is these tiny zigzags...kinda like ramen noodles...growing out of my head.

I would think that if you’re seeing a pattern resembling Ramen Noodles, then that would be more of a wave than a zigzag.

However, I may be wrong of course. Do you happen to have any pictures to show what you’re zigzag pattern looks like?
Hair Type: Curl diameter of 1/4"-1/8", High porosity, Medium strands (mostly), Medium/thin density

do you mean hairs with teeny tiny z all the way down? Not groups of hairs that do this? I have some of these (not mostly these). They are finer in texture than the other hair and sort of look like straight hair, the zs are so small. Also a few hairs that are like teeny tiny coiled springs. Mostly these hide in the other, coarser hair and act like frizz.
