Hawiian Silky Review.

I use to try the No-Lye Mild relaxers for about a couple of months, then my hair got adapted to it and I tried it for maybe every 2 weeks(bad idea). Don't do what I did. Better yet I see why people are transitioning from relaxers to natural. If anyone seen "Good Hair" its an even more reason to transition. There is 14-in1 conditioning spray from Hawiian Silky its not too bad. Very moisturising.Yet I'd say greasy. =)

Every two weeks!???!! Did any of your hair break or fall out?

Is the spray too greasy for repurchase?

I like the Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1. It is fairly moisturizing; however, I can't use it too many days in a row though as I think I start getting build-up from the mineral oil in it, which then begins to counteract the moisturization properties.

Misc: 1st time going natural was '94-'98; 2nd time - '99-2003; This time I will not go back to relaxers.

Lol, I know right about every two weeks. I used a mild one, so I guess it wasn't that strong. I found that it did smooth out the hair and it made it soft, but afterwards it needed some mad moisturizing. I think that the 14-in-1 isn't that bad just don't over do it like I always do, or it will get all gunky in the hair. My hair did start to break off bit by bit, I think that since I didn't use a coarse relaxer I didn't go bald. Over time I've realized that the Hawaiian Silky no lye relaxer broke down my curls to waves and made my ends straight. But I seriously had to do a hair trim.

True, it builds up. Makes the hair soft though. One time some got in my mouth by accident it was very sweet like candy. No wonder sometimes when I wait for the bus I see bees flying towards me lol. It is good though just not too much. Now I use Miss Jessies.
