I am transitioning and this is my 2nd month. My hair is soooooo dry...Can someone please tell me what I can do? I am very desperate and am thinking of going back to a relaxer.

don't relax. condition, condition, condition. deep condition as often as you can, leave a heavier condition in as leave in, and seal it in. i use spiral solutions dd as a leave in and it literally has transformed my hair.
    good luck!

Hi, what works for me is Del2C's spritz&condish method. Here is a link:http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlta...ad.php?t=89299 It worked wonders on my hair, although I am not transitioning, but it's worth a try. I've spent years trying different products trying to find the right moisturizing stuff and all I need was a different method. Hope this helps.

    1. Cut Back on Heat Styling
    2. Leave the Color Alone
    3. Wear Protective Styles
    4. Protect Your Hair at Night
    5. Rinse and Conditioner Wash
    6. Condition, Condition, Condition

Thanks to everyone for your help. So, if I am understanding you correct, conditioning is the key and it is perfectly ok to apply leave in conditioner on my hair daily. Sorry, if my questions sound dumb, but I have had a relaxer on my hair for 30yrs. I've decided this year since I am reaching a new mile stone, I am going to do something different.

yes, conditioning is the key. it is definitely okay to use a leave in every day, most of us do. in fact, a lot of us use a much more moisturizing conditioner as our leave in. as long as it is not heavy with proteins, you cannot overcondition.

I've tried the Miss Jessies rapid recovery its not bad. But I heard that biolage heratherapie conditioner works well. I just bought it today. I used to relax my hair and it has gotten dry as well, I want the majority of my curls back.
