Does anybody here make their own whipped shea butter? Do you have a recipe to share? I am curious.

This is what i do and love it. (you can omit the coconut milk if you like. it still comes out nicely without it)

I spent one Friday night experimenting for hours to find the right recipe only to find out after all my hard work that someone had already posted it in the thread listed above. Could have saved myself a lot of time. Anyway here is my recipe:

    2Tbsp unrefined shea butter
    1Tbsp FOTE aloe vera gel
    1 tsp EVOO
    1 tsp castor oil

Shea butter should be at room temperature. Place into a bowl and mash with a spoon. Add other ingredients and stir. Then use hand held mixer to whip it up nice and fluffy. You can add 5-10 drops of EO or scent oil if you like. Store in an airtight container and avoid heat or direct sunlight.
