Is there a list of protein ingredients found in hair products?

I thought there was such a list but I'm having difficulty finding it.

If there is not a list, then:

1. Do most daily conditioners contain protein?

2. Does anyone know what protein is in [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Elucence-Moisture-Balancing-Conditioner-p-39.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=elucence-elucence-moisture-balancing-conditioner]Elucence Moisture Balance[/buylink] Conditioner?

Thanks so much!:toothy7:

    Here are the ingredients:

Key ingredients: Panax Ginseng root extract, cetraria islandia (Irish Moss) extract, saccharomyces cerevisiea (Brewer's Yeast) extract, Gingko Biloba extract, pimpinella anisum (Anise) fruit extract, prunis persica (Peach) extract in purified water, hexadecanol, stearakonium chloride, certimonium bromide, Squalane (olive oil lipid), Capric Caprillic Triglycerides (coconut fatty acids), Panthenol (pro-vitamin USP), Biotin (USP), imisazolidinyl urea, methylparaben (USP), fragrance

Nothing "pops" right out as a protein. If you're looking for an ingredient that might be causing you problems, the bolded one could be it. It's an ingredient that can cause "issues." The other ingredient that pops out is the Panthenol. I know rcc has issues with that. You don't list hair properties, so it's hard to advise. But rcc is coarse and porous--she has problems with protein and Panthenol.

Personally, I don't find it moisturizing enough for my hair.

The Irish Moss has protein too. And both ingredients are high up on the ingredients.

I know I'm late to the party, but Elucence.com says that the MBC contains hydrolyzed wheat protein, even though it's not listed in the ingredients (unless I'm missing something).
