Two month CG anniversary progress

It's been two months now since I started my
CG journey. I've gone through a lot of changes and products along the way. My goal was to re-gain the curl I'd lost and find a simple routine with as few products as possible. I feel like I have met my goals and am very happy with where my hair is right now. The only thing I'd still like to try is diffusing (need to buy a blowdryer).

My hair the last week of June:

And my hair today:

The lighting is very different in these photos. The first was taken in the bathroom with the yellowish vanity lights on plus camera flash. The second is with natural light and no flash.
Medium-fine Texture, Normal Porosity, Normal Elasticity, Thick Density
Co-wash: Renpure Body&Shine
RO: Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner
LI/Curl Enhancer: Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner
Other: I'll add a little AG Mousse Gel if I want something extra.

WOW! I see a big difference. You know, us wavies will take any improvement but yours is really nice!

p.s. I last colored my hair on 7/11 and I am trying to see if I can let it go natural as well. When sleek and straight it was too obvious to grow out but I am trying since it is curly!
I'm 47. Straight hair until 6/2010. THANKS, thyroid!

Your hair started out really pretty and now it is just gorgeous. I love the way it curls at the bottom now. You see lots of pics here showing CG progress, but it is always amazing to me the big changes people get. Good job.

Your hair is absolutely stunning. Your curls are so lovely! I definitely think CG is working out for you.

My curl pattern is a lot like yours. I'm trying to grow my hair out a bit (some of my layers are a little too short, I think), and I would love for it to look like yours.
:batman: 2b/cFi, low density, normal porosity, high elasticity

    Low-poo
: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle
    Conditioner
: Suave Naturals (whatever scent I have on hand)
    Styling
: Paul Mitchell Round Trip, Tresemme Climate Control Finishing Spray

I'm a hair minimalist: the less time I spend on my hair, the better.

Thank you Pedaheh! I didn't think my hair looked awful before, but I knew it could be a lot better, and healthier ;).

    Thanks yuhwoo :D

Thank you Porque_pig! Yes, CG is working very well for me. I keep thinking maybe I should get a low-poo to use every now and then, but I don't seem to need one. I must to be one of the rare wavies that can exclusivly co-wash.
As much as I love the length right now, I'm planning to have about 3" cut off with my next trim. The last few inches just don't feel very smooth anymore and need to go. Luckily my hair grows pretty quickly (1"/mo.) so I'll be back to BSL fairly soon.
Best of luck with your grow-out and CG venture :toothy8: .
