Am I really a 2?

I thought I was 3a, but I got some comments saying I'm a 2c. Am I? Right now, I'm thinking I'm both 2c and 3a, but I dunno.

    2B and beautiful, I'd say.

Those definitely look like well-defined, strong, loose waves.

Why thank you! :) It's damaged at the moment, I'm getting all my split ends cut off soon and then deep conditioning. Hopefully it'll look better before school.

I'd agree with 2b or 2c (the distinction is thickness/coarseness) and pretty, pretty, pretty! Your curl pattern has very nice shape (yes, "2" is a type of curl or wave pattern, not a lack of curl). It looks like you have a cut which really brings out your waves/curls. You see lots of us listed as 2b or 2c/3a because the distinction is, um, not so distinct.

Depends on whose hair typing you're using. The one on nc.com isn't quite the same as the Fia one, which tends to be a bit more thorough and precise. But yeah, even then, they're not terribly precise which wis why you see variances in the sigs. Also, some people just have a mix of hair types on their heads.
