Silicone problem!

I just realized that my leave in conditioner has Amodimethicone in it. :( I have been using it for the past week, and I don't want to use a sulfate to wash it out.

Is it okay if I just don't use it anymore, or should I shampoo it out? >.<
Currently using:
Cowash: Brown Sugar, V05 CC
Conditioner: V05 Moisturizing , Ion Effective
Leave-in: V05
Gel: HETT
2c/3a?
overly Porous, coarse, thick, normal elasticity.

Still searching for the perfect formula for curls!

You wont need to shampoo it out - use a product with cocamidopropyl betaine / cocobetaine and that will take it out. Its not a hard cone to remove. HTH

Can all silicones be washed out with cocamidopropyl betaine or do some need something stronger? I have a sample of Ouidad Climate Control Gel, but have been putting off using it because it has dimethicone in it.

You also want to keep in mind which silicone it is, where it is on the ingredient list, how often you use it, how often you low poo. Low poos can remove cones (see the link posted above), but the cleansers in low poos aren't efficient at removing cones. You have to use your best judgement.
