Hair cut advice please! *pics included*

So I'm planning on getting a hair cut this Tuesday. The first two pics are of the one that my hairstylist gave me before, the third one is my hair now, the fourth is my hair pulled back so you can see my face shape, and the fifth and sixth are of Baby's hair (from Dirty Dancing), which is what I'm thinking of asking for.

What do you think about it? Do you like the cut? Is fitting with the current times? Would it work with my face shape and curl type? And what about styling it, any ideas?

Thanks!

    Hi

You are really cute :-) I really like the 'baby' hair style, its kind of what my hair is growing into at the moment. I think it will work on you, I also like it as you can 'big' it up with lots of volume or wear it softer and still tie it up with face framing curls if you want too.

Let us know what you decide to do
    Curl type: 3a
    Texture: normal
    Porosity: normal

I had the "Baby" hairdo in the 80's when I was in my twenties. :) It was VERY layered and required quite a bit of mousse and diffusing. Not a biggie. We still have mousse and diffusers today. :D

I think that particular 80's do is nearly universally flattering. I saw it look cute on a lot of people. Of course, I had more hair back then than I do now, so my volume was terrific.

It continues to be one of my fave looks though I sort of have a longer, less layered version (less poufy since my hair has thinned) today:

    Natural since 11/25/09
    Then: fine, superdry, non-elastic, porous
Now: medium, dry, elastic, lower porosity, BSL

I agree that it's a style that works anytime, and would work on you! I think it would look great on you. :) My style is similar as well, but my bangs/front layers start a little longer. It is a very versatile style and still long enough for a ponytail or updo. Go for it! And be sure to take pictures! :)

Thanks for the tips everyone! I'm a little ambivalent about the length, but I'm going to take to my stylist about it to see what she thinks and if she could maybe "update" the look a little bit. I LOVE the layering in the front!
