I'm a newbie and just tried plopping for the first time this morning. It kindof worked but the top layer of my hair is still frizzy and doesn't have very many clumps.

So I was just wondering if when you wrap it if it is suppost to feel loose or tight on your head?

Garnier Fructis Curl Sculping Cream-Gel=AMAZING!
I want my hair to look pretty...not frizzy.
I straigten my bangs or pull them up
I <3 my curls....just not always.

My hair always gets a little frizzy after plopping. If it bothers me alot, I just put a little drop of anti-frizzing cream in my hair. It definitely helps! And I do like the towel tight on my head, or else it feels like it could just fall right off (and then my waves won't turn out right!)
Don't get discouraged if it doesn't come out right the first few times. It takes a little while to perfect the plopping "technique." I found that it works best for me if I just comb my hair around the side of my face to get my part and my bangs right, and then I get dressed and come back to the sink. I turn the faucet on and cup my hand to fill it with water, and then I scrunch individual sections like that. It sounds a little crazy, but it actually made my waves come out a lot nicer! Good luck. Just try to experiment and find out what works best for you.
