New to my curls.. advice?

I'm new to this site, and new to my curls! Obviously I've had curls since I was born, but I've always done everything possible to hide them. I would straighten it, tie it up, or even curl it so the curls 'looked better.' Since I've gotten older I've started to really embrace my curls. And lately I've been letting them do their own thing. I get compliments from everyone on them! But, my hair is still so fried from years of dying/bleaching/straightening.. Any advice? I'm a college student, so I have practically no disposable income.. so cheap advice would be particularly helpful!

I'm new to the site, too, but are you on the CG method yet? If not, I'd suggest buying Curly Girl by Lorraine Massey. Best 10 bucks you'll ever spend! :)

I don't know if you still need this or not, but I would (and did) start here:
Hair type: 3a, med-low porosity, decent elasticity, thin, med-fine. (I think)

    Hair Routine:
    Low-poo: Burt's Bee's Pomegranate and Soy
Co-wash: V05 Kiwi Clarifying Conditioner, Condish: V05 Kiwi Clarifying Conditioner, Giovanni TTTT, honey
    Leave In: GVP Conditioning Balm
Styling: Biotera Curl Cream, Sweet Almond Oil
    Techniques: Icequeen method

Hair likes: GVP CB, Biotera Curl Cream, Almond Oil (when wet).
    Hair dislikes: gel, plopping.

Hair Goal: Healthy, soft, defined, waist length curls!
