I've seen every movie that I like to any extent at least twice. I find it hard to tell on a first viewing whether I've really liked a movie. I just know my first impression (which often changes upon further viewing), and whether it was interesting. And if the movie really does appeal to me, then I'll definitely want to watch it whenever the mood strikes.

You guys only watch movies once?

Most of the time...most of the time, I have to keep myself my pushing the fast forward button...

If I don't fast forward at all during a movie, that means it gets two thumbs up!

    Just thought of two more:

    Frailty
    Monster's Ball

Hm...Well, I only watch Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast once every two or three years. It's the only movie I've ever seen that I'd describe as "mysterious," and it's important to me to keep it that way. But I'll easily watch most movies I like at least twice a year.

I can't even begin to list the movies I've watched more than once!

I can list the ones I watch ALL THE TIME, like every time they're on!

    Anything with Bing Crosby
    Anything with Fred Astaire
    Anything with Gene Kelly
    "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"
    "Animal House"
    "Bring It On"
    "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"
    "The Wizard of Oz"
    "Grease"
    "Grease 2"
    "St. Elmo's Fire"
All those John Hughes movies from the '80s

Giant (Liz Taylor, Rock Hudson & James Dean)
    Grease (I & II)
Star Wars (the originals. Without Harrison Ford, what's the point of the others). Which brings me to:
    Raiders of the Lost Ark
    Breakfast Club
    Sixteen Candles
Gone With the Wind (I know the dialogue by heart)
    Pretty in Pink
    Meet the Parents
Father of the Bride (Liz Taylor and Spencer Tracy)
    All of Mel Brooks movies

These are just a few off the top of my head.

Don't get me started... too many to count - someone else mentioned seeing every movie they liked to any extent twice... well, that's me.

I can give a small sampling of films that I could watch over and over, and have...

    Out of Africa
    Immortal Beloved
    Amadeus
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
The Sting (I nearly chew off my fingernails every time! :P )
    Animal Crackers
    Life is Beautiful
All four of the Harry Potters
3B Corkscrew... I'm back on the boards now! Just got The Big Chop on Monday, pics coming soon.

Same here. I think I would have an easier time listing the movies I've only seen once.

    Me too. Guilty!!

My mother-in-law says she NEVER watches a movie more than once.
Ahh..sometimes she should watch it again since she didn't "get it" the first time.
If I really like it the first time I definitely watch it again because you get to enjoy more of the movie...little facial expressions...things you knew where there...but couldn't stop and rewind in the movie theater.

Love things in Shrek 2...donkey making popping sounds in the back of the wagon...prince adjusting the crown he got in the burger meal.
    The little Justin Timberlake thing.

Okay...now can we talk about "Walk the Line?"

Lord help me. I think I have watched that movie more than humanly possible. It is Joaquin. Can't take it at the end when he says "Marry Me"
    in the whisper.
16 plus weeks in a cast...I think I have watched everything twice.

    Eat Drink Man Woman
    Tortilla Soup

Both of these movies are really good.

I have watched more movies twice than I realized.

    On The Waterfront
    The Patriot (shut up)
    The Fifth Element
    Jaws
    Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas
    A Streetcar Named Desire
    Grumpy Old Men

I can't always sit through a whole movie, I often wander off and do other things when we try to watch them at home...so for me to watch anything more than once is pretty big. My biggest DORK movie is The Patriot. I don't know why I love it. I know it's corny.
