Yes to all....the only thing that I see in there that give some people trouble are the Polyquats. They're in a lot of products though.

Nope, I believe like Behentrimonium Methosulfate it's just an emulsifier.

ETA though that the Methosulfate emulsifiers work well in CO conditioners because they emulsify to the point where it helps with cleansing. They're also gentle.

I have heard word that The Body Shop is going to reformulate or redo their hair care line. It could just be rumour. I think the Banana and Honey lines are the only CG ones, but honestly, it seems the ingredient list changes every time I check it. I have the Cottonseed Curl Boost. I find it works better for me when I diffuse. I didn't like it at first, but I think it was bad weather timing when I first tried it also. I'd try the Banana condish trial size, and you might see if you can get the CCB as a sample first. Let us know what you think!

According to the actual book (2nd edition), CG is eliminating sulfates, non-water-soluble silicones, and drying alcohols (ie alcohol denat). As long as the shampoo is sulfate free (aka low-poo) it is still considered CG.

Modified CG would involve occasional or sort of regular use of sulfates, non-water-silicones and/or drying alcohols. I suspect some of the confusion stems from the change in definition from the 1st edition of Curly Girl to the 2nd. And I suspect the definition was modified because sulfate-free shampoos have become much more common and easily located.
