Ugh, so my first bad hair day in a while...

though I think I saved it by the semi re-do. I don't think it was products so much as it was technique and styling. The biggest problem was that I hadn't set my part right before plopping and diffusing...so I tried to set it after I'd begun diffusing. Well, that didn't work, so then in a fit of anger (ha ha!) I began to comb it all out thinking maybe I'd try to straighten, but it was drier up front and wetter in the back and the front had curl, albeit fluffy curl. Seeing the curl in it though, I decided to spritz with water, add a little gel and cream mixed (Live Clean Argan Oil Smooth and Shine cream with HEBE), and re-scrunch and re-diffuse. This took less time than if I'd tried to straighten. I saved it from being a horrible hair day, but it took so much extra time that I missed going to the museum with my friend and her daughter and the girls she was babysitting. My whole day's been kinda off anyways.

Thanks CPD! I had my doubts about the redo, but it was definitely better than I'd thought I'd be able to get. I'm glad I did that instead of straightening (or attempting to, I was never good at that) or going au naturale.

We went to a Scottish pub called Bard and Banker for my husband's birthday. He had a special beer they had, and we shared sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. It was yummy!!!!!

It was really good CurlyPolkaDot! I am not sure if I have had it before...I might have had it, or something like it. I have had the one at Christmas. Not sure how that compares. The sticky toffee pudding was way better than the beer DH had, but the beer was a stone fired ale, meaning they dropped hot stones in it while brewing, so the sugars carmelized a little. It had a little sweet finish. It went pretty well with the sticky toffee pudding, though I don't care much for beer myself.
