Renee Zellweger shows off her fabulous new figure
By CLEMMIE MOODIE
Thanks partly to the dietary demands of playing Bridget Jones, Zellweger has varied between tubby and too thin.
But judging by her latest public appearance, Renee Zellweger has finally managed to get her figure precisely to her satisfaction.
The 37-year-old actress looked toned and glowing with health at the London premiere of her latest movie Miss Potter. And the most eyecatching aspect of her appearance was her dramatically enhanced cleavage.
Whether this was the result of the latest brassiere technology or (whisper it) breast implants, it was the hot topic among the crowd at the Odeon in Leicester Square last night.
The film is a biography of Beatrix Potter, giving Miss Zellweger another chance to show off her impressive English accent which featured in the two Bridget Jones films.
Thankfully, she did not have to repeat the yo-yo dieting that was necessary for the part of Bridget.
For the first movie in 2001, she piled on four stone to play Helen Fielding’s character who is constantly worrying about her weight.
Weeks after completing filming, she went on a crash diet and ended up thinner than when she started.
After agreeing to reprise her role in the 2004 sequel, she had to double her usual calorie intake, filling up on doughnuts and other fatty treats.
This was followed by another spell of weight loss, not helped by her disastrous marriage to country singer Kenny Chesney.
But at last Miss Zellweger can write in her diary: Looking v. v. good indeed.
