book club/discussion group

I noticed a few of you wanted to start book discussions--there really isn't a separate forum for that right now, but maybe we could start one here and if it goes well ask Gretchen and Michelle to set up a new forum?

Anyone still interested? Any suggestions for what we should read?

I think doing it here would at least USE this board as the swap thing hasn't really taken off (I was going to swap, but my SIL and best friend swooped in on my "out" box and there was nothing left!).

I'd be interested in a reading group. You might want to post something about it on the non-hair board.

I'm bad about swaping too--I have friends here that I swap with, and my mom and dad...plus I'm bad about mailing things icon_smile.gif

I'll post something in the non-hair board as well--wanted to make sure that someone else was interested first.

As far as types of books--I love mysteries, but I'm not sure how they would translate into a discussion icon_smile.gif

Isabelle Allende has a new book coming out "Portrait in Sepia" I adore her books--it'll be out October 23rd. I think I'm gonna pre-ordering it icon_smile.gif
