Check these out! I was just getting ready to place an order and saw these. I guess there's a mixer to make the color thicker so you can use a brush or sponge if wanted.

mixer: http://www.robertcraig.com/mixer.html

bowl and brushes: http://www.robertcraig.com/php/index.php?location=bowl

sponges: http://www.robertcraig.com/php/index.php?location=sponge

I think I'm going to try them out! At least the mixer since it makes it thicker. Maybe it won't soak into my hair and spread so much when I use the heat cap.

Definitely I'll get the mixer - nice idea. I'm always getting many bubbles when I shake to mix.. I've used brushes before; do you use foam in the same way?

suburban - I guess the sponge would be the same, but I've only ever used brushes. ?

joya - I would think you could fill the bottle with soapy water and mix it up to clean it. But you can probably just rinse it under the faucet. I'm sure the bowl just needs to be washed with soap and water too.

My sis actually ordered one last night with her color (I haven't placed mine yet). If she gets it by Thrs when we meet to do hair, then I'll let you all know how it works! :)

Yes! My sis bought the mixer and we used it when we colored her hair, then I used it again when I did mine. It is SO much better than shaking shaking shaking for 3 minutes. 8)

And it does make the mousse thicker so it really clings to the hair, nice and foamy. Worth the money! :D

I have a brush from the highlighting kit so I tried it around the hairline, it worked well with the thicker consistency of the mousse.
