New Hairstyle

Hey everyone!

I've been wearing my hair the same way for 19 years :| and I really want something different. The thing is - it's always hot and humid where I'm from so my hair can be unpredictable from time to time.

I was wondering if you guys have any ideas for a new haircut that will suit me (I have hair up to my elbows and have a round face) or maybe a certain way of styling my hair. I've always wanted to have bangs but don't have the patience to straighten my hair in the morning.

What do you guys think? Any suggestion will help loads :)

Hi there! Here's some stuff that I found while browsing on google:

I'll try looking for more. Is there a particular length or style you were aiming for?

Hi rena! thanks so much for the pictures.. :)

i'm pretty sure I want to keep it long. Hopefully still below the shoulders so that if ever my hair decides to screw me over one day by being incredibly frizzy, it won't shorten and poof up too much (if that makes sense).

I really like kate winslet's hair! Although i don't know if I can pull off her bangs considering my hairtype :(

Maybe long layers or layers to frame your face rather than bangs? Have you looked at any of the pics on this site for ideas? Mines not as long as yours, but I do often pull the sides back loosely and secure to keep them off my face, but the rest is still down.

I personally love longer, sideswept bangs. I cheat and straighten mine :)

    Aussie Aussome Volume shampoo
Coconut oil + Aussie AV shampoo
    Eufora aloe vera leave-in conditioner
    LA Looks Sport Gel

    I use the super-soaker method :)

you could cut bangs, and if you decide you don't like them, or they don't look good, you can twist them back, and clip them to the side. Also, have you heard about the curly girl method? i think it would do wonders for your hair. ^.^
    twisty curly, curly twisty
    gel-y, mouse-y, pomade-y, misty

    they listen, they don't -
    oh what a pity
