Can I Use a Regular Condish as Deep Condish..?

Hiya...!

I'm wondering if anyone uses their daily conditioner as a deep conditioner..? I have Mop Top Daily sitting in the cabinet, Jason Organics Lavender, and c-system conditioner, too. Maybe I could make a mix of them and deep condition..? Anyone else tried something similar..?
I've looked on other threads, and see adding honey is a good idea. I don't think EVOO would be too great for my hair... I'm open to any any suggestions..!

I'm not sure what you could add since I've never made my own mix for a DC treatment but I know that even just the addition of heat to regular conditioners is like a DT. I always just use my regular conditioner and use a heat bonnet for 30 minutes. My stylist told me that when I asked if I should use something specific for DC treatments. Good luck. I'm sure you'll get more answers and ideas of things you can add to "up" your conditioner and make it more moisturizing.

You can literally use any conditioner as a DT, even without adding anything. Just leave it on longer. You'll get better results the higher quality the conditioner is, but you really can use any conditioner to DT.

Ooh, congratulations! I don't need to worry about that for a while - my PhD student Visa is good till January 2012 so I've got some time to decide what exactly I'm doing with the whole where-to-live thing. :-) Good to know people pass, though! (they make it out to be terrifying!)

    Thanks....!
I was pretty nervous. I studied the book for about 3 days - the test itself took me maybe 3-4 minutes to complete. It's 24 multiple-choice questions, and you need to get 18 correct to pass - but it is more important than you'd think to study the book. Actually, more important than that is to do the practice questions. By the time you need to take it, you'll still be in student/study mode, so it should be pretty straight forward, especially since English is your first language.!

Thanks for that! Makes me feel better about all of it, even though that's only one option of many and it's a ways off yet.

Also - is it sad that this reminds me a LOT of taking my written driving test? ;-)
