Can you or have you done a henna or cassia on your hair while its in twists or braids (no extensions, just your real hair twisted/braided)? I feel like doing a cassia or henna today :farao: but I just put in micro twists.

You may have a more difficult time removing all of the particles. It's hard enough sometimes with looser hair. LOL! And some of your hair may not actually get saturated w/both enough to benefit. But if you DO try it out, let me know!

I may just try it. My last henna was actually very easy to rinse out and I had no particles left over. Maybe like 15 minutes. I used Jamila henna. I've read many henna stories and tutorials and most of them talk about spending so much time rinsing the henna out of their hair and using multiple bottles of conditioner. I used half a bottle of Vo5 when rinsing out 200grams of henna, and I didn't even need to use that much conditioner. I'm worried about cassia though because I've yet to try it and I have 3 bags of it. I was trying to sell some of it but I don't really want to.lol.

I use Jamila too. But I mix other ingredients that aren't as finely sifted. But what has helped is adding marshmallow root. It gives the mix a slip and makes it a bit easier to rinse out. I actually don't have that difficult of a time myself, but there are still remnants left in. lol

Not sure how long your hair is, but I may have to spend more time because of my hair-length. If your hair is shorter, then doing the henna with your twists in may not be difficult.
